They're eggdrop IRC bots that help us maintain the channel without too much chaos.

Of course not! In fact, most of the time we just hang out and discuss random topics of interest.

Why do some people get +v (voice) when they join the channel?

It means that we think they're so cool that we gave them a bot account and instant recognition every time they join.

Can I get an infoline?

Even if you had the ability to add an infoline, we won't tell you how. They're just that irritating.

My native language isn't English, is this a problem?

Well, #tcpa is English, but occasionally some of our Northern European members will talk in Swedish or Finnish. This is rare and usually fortold by Halley's comet. We'll be forgiving if you're not perfect and English is your second language--because many of us are in the same position. If anything, #tcpa will help you get much better by introducing a conversational environment for learning!

I love telling everyone if I'm at work, playing a game, or sleeping. Can I use a status nick?

I was banned/kicked/mocked, is there anything I can do about it?

If you were banned, the person who set it should have included the reason and time in the ban message. If they did not, chances are that you were already warned about your actions. A kick really isn't anything worth complaining about--especially since we all know you have autorejoin.
